Our boutique hospitality in Udaipur includes The August, The Kot Kehloor and Shambhala Villa, while Ayana’s Homestay is a family-run stay in Alleppey. Udaipur is known as the City of Lakes, and Alleppey is known for its backwaters, so the two destinations offer very different settings for a stay.
In Udaipur, Rajasthan
Shambhala Boutique Hospitality Udaipur brings together private stays in the city. The August is a private two-bedroom cottage with its own swimming pool, a garden and a verandah. The Kot Kehloor is a boutique hotel and villa with seven bedrooms, open living areas and a private pool, set up for families, friends and small groups. Shambhala Villa is a private luxury villa in the Aravalli Hills with four rooms and an indoor swimming pool.
In Alleppey, Kerala
Ayana’s Homestay is a family-run homestay in the backwaters of Alleppey, Kerala. Its rooms look out over the river or the garden, meals are home-style, and guests reach the homestay by boat from a riverbank pickup point.

The Kot Kehloor is the better fit for larger families, groups of friends and small celebrations that want to stay under one roof. With seven bedrooms, open living areas and a private pool, it gives a group room to spend time together. The property also has a garden with outdoor seating and a gym, and a bonfire can be arranged on request.

Shambhala Villa suits families, couples and small groups who want a whole private villa in the Aravalli Hills. It has four air-conditioned rooms, an indoor swimming pool, a fully equipped kitchen and a living and dining area, and the entire villa can be booked as a full property.
Ayana’s Homestay, Alleppey
Ayana’s Homestay suits travellers who want a family-run stay in the Kerala backwaters rather than a city stay. Rooms are available with A/C or non-A/C and with river or garden views. Guests can join cooking classes, village tours, backwater kayaking and village cycling, and boat pickup and transfers are part of the stay.
